Aligning items on a diagram
1. Select the items that you want to align.
When you have two or more items selected, the items will align with the 'reference selection', that is the item that has red handles. If you click a selected item, that item will become the reference selection.
2. Ensure that the item you want to align with is the 'reference selection', that is, the item has red handles.
3. On the Diagram menu, point to Align Symbols, and then click the appropriate alignment command.
If the results are not as you want, on the Edit menu, click Undo.
Modeler will attempt to align the selected items to the reference selection.

The Common Diagram toolbar has alignment buttons for each of the alignment commands.
