Logging in to a Web Interface website (Web Interface)
If you need to create an account to log in to the Web Interface website, create that account.
How?
For information about LDAP authentication and Web Interface website account authentication, click
here. If you have an account, then follow the steps listed below.
1. Connect to the Web Interface website.
How?
The Log In page is displayed. If Microsoft Entra ID is enabled, the Sign in with your organization button is displayed.
2. Enter your credentials:
To log in using LDAP or local Web Interface account
1. In the User Name box, type your user name.
If you are using a Web Interface website account to log in, type only your user name.
If you are using your Windows user name and password (LDAP authentication) to log in, ensure that you type your domain name and user name. For example, MyDomain\MyUserName.
2. In the Password box, type your password.
3. Click the Log in button.
To log in using Microsoft Entra ID or Ping Federate
a. Click the Sign in with your organization button.
b. You are taken to the relevant Microsoft Entra ID or Ping Federate login page where you will be prompted to enter your credentials.

With Microsoft Entra, you may be prompted to switch accounts, if applicable.

If the log in attempt is successful, the Web Interface website opens the Home page for you to view the models that you can access.
Viewing models through a Web Interface website (Web Interface)
In case there is an error while logging in, the Web Interface website displays an error message prompting you to contact the website administrator with an event ID. The administrate is then able to determines the cause of the full error logged in the status.log file. The following is an example entry of an error in the status.log file:

Logging out of Web Interface
It is good practice to log off a Web Interface session when you are finished. However, after a period of inactivity, you will be logged off a Web Interface website. When you log out of Web Interface, you are also given an option to sign out from your Microsoft Entra ID or Ping Federate session, if applicable. Note that clicking the option to sign out of Microsoft Entra ID signs you out of all the applications that you are signed in using Microsoft Entra ID, not just Web Interface.
