Enumeration literal (dictionary item)

An Enumeration Literal is a component of a Type Definition whose construction is Enumeration.
You create an Enumeration Literal through the Enumerations tab of a Type Definition's Property Pages. Note that the Enumerations tab of a Type Definition's Property Pages contains information only when the Enumeration option is selected on the Options tab.
Create a Type Definition through the Property Pages or a Class Diagram:

• On a Class Diagram, click the Enumeration Literal button, and then click within the Type Definition.
When used on a Class Diagram, an Enumeration Literal's notation is as follows:

If you select the UML\Enumeration Literals folder in the Dictionary pane, the Contents pane displays the following information about each Enumeration Literal in the model: Enumeration (owning).
In the Modeler panes, a short-cut symbol on the Enumeration Literal's icon indicates that the item is a stub.
