Adding existing items to a package diagram (UML Standard profile)

The View and Viewpoint items are available only if both the SysML and UML Standard profiles have been added to the model.

To add existing items to a package diagram:
1. Open the Package Diagram.
2. Locate the item you want to add in the appropriate pane.
3. Drag the item from an appropriate pane to the Package Diagram.
Alternatively, you can add items that are owned by the Model or Package that owns the Package Diagram:
1. Open the Package Diagram.
2. On the diagram's tab, click the 
Model, 
Model Library, 
Package, 
Profile, 
View or 
Viewpoint button.
Model, Model Library, Package, Profile, View or Viewpoint button.Note that you can add Views and Viewpoints only if the SysML profile has been added to the model.
3. On the Package Diagram, right-click in free space.
4. Select the item you want to add, and then click OK.
Note that when you add a Package, you can add any Package in the Model.
