Interfaces
An interface is a kind of a Connection that connects only with Ports. Interfaces facilitate the specification and reuse of compatible connections between parts.
Creating an Interface relationship
To create an interface relationship:
1. On the System Structure Diagram ribbon toolbar, click the Interface button.
2. On the diagram, click the source connector and then click the target connector item. This creates an interface relationship between two items.
Interface Definitions
The following images shows the different uses of an Interface definitions.
1. It can be used to create an Interface definition between two Port definition elements.
2. It can be used to create an interface between two Ports.
3. It can be used to populate Connection links.
4. It can be used to create Feature Typing link relationships.
