• Route links automatically check box - automatically routes links on diagrams.

• Reroute links when connected object is moved check box - automatically reroutes links of a node that is moved (even when the Route links automatically check box is not selected.

• Open diagrams read-only check box - opens diagrams as read-only, ensuring that you do not prevent other users from making changes to the diagram. You can lock a read-only diagram for editing through the Diagram Lock For Edit button on the Diagram tab

• Warn before opening read-only diagrams check box - opens a confirmation dialog before opening a diagram as read-only.

• Warn before deleting diagrams check box - opens a confirmation dialog before deleting a diagram.

• Show alignment grid check box - shows an alignment grid on diagrams.

• Snap check box - specifies that diagram items will snap to the grid. To quickly switch the snap option while working on a diagram, press the F8 key on the keyboard.

• Dots option - displays dots for the alignment grid.

• Lines option - displays lines for the alignment grid.

• Granularity slider - specifies the granularity of the alignment grid. Drag the pointer to the required value.

• Font box - displays the default font that is used on diagrams

• Select button - opens a dialog for you to select a default font to use on diagrams.
