Creating an entry state
You can create an Entry State on a State Diagram or through a Modeler browser. Define an Entry State's incoming and outgoing Transitions on a State Diagram.
To create an entry state on a state diagram:
1. On the State Diagram tab, click the 
Entry State button.

 | You cannot click the dashed partition line for a Concurrent State. |
To create an entry state in a Modeler browser:
• Right-click the State Machine or Sequential State that is to own the Entry State, and select > > .
