Tool Options dialogs - General
This entry on the Tool Options dialog has the following controls:
• Open last model on start up check box - opens the last active model each time you start Modeler.
• Warn before deleting unused/empty items check box - opens a confirmation dialog when you attempt to delete an unused item.
• Warn before long searches check box - opens a confirmation dialog before starting a search that may take a long time when performed with a large model.
• Enable configuration management integration check box - specifies that the configuration management tool integration is enabled, that is, cm tool integration icons are displayed and the cm tool integration functions are available.
To enable the configuration management integration you must use a Modeler license and CM Integration license.
• Always Show Advanced Options on Checkout check box - specifies that when performing a check out operation the CM tool's Advanced Options dialog is opened automatically before showing the Modeler Confirmation Management Options dialog, assuming that the CM tool supports advanced integration options.
If you do not select this check box, you can still open the Advanced Options dialog by clicking the Advanced button on the Modeler Confirmation Management Options dialog, which is opened when you perform a check out operation.
• Honor SCC Filenames check box – when this option is selected, Modeler uses the stored SCC Filename property when exporting packages. When not selected, Modeler uses the default file name.
The stored SCC Filename is always used when there are other SCC properties set, such as, the package is actually checked into CM or the package is marked as a profile.
• Left delimiter box - specifies the left delimiter that is used when showing stereotypes on diagrams. To specify left guillemots, press and hold the Alt key, and then type 174 on the numeric keypad.
• Right delimiter box - specifies the right delimiter that is used when showing stereotypes on diagrams. To specify right guillemots, press and hold the Alt key, and then type 175 on the numeric keypad.
