Merge permissions (property)

The Merge Permissions specifies whether the access permissions of a Package are exported when the Package is exported using Package Import/Export > Export command:
• If the Merge Permissions check box is selected when the Package is exported, the access permissions of the Package are exported. When the Package is imported, the exported access permissions are imported. Access permissions for users that are invalid for the target model are removed.
• If the Merge Permissions check box is cleared when the Package is exported, the access permissions of the Package are not exported. When the Package is imported, the user that is performing the import is set up as the owner of the Package.
By default, the Merge Permissions check box is selected.
