This property specifies whether a Variation Point is external or internal, that is, whether the Variation Point is visible to customers or not.

The notation of a Variation Point on a diagram indicates whether the Variation Point is external or internal.

By default, the External check box is selected.

This property is set on the Options tab of a Variant Point's Property Pages.
