Creating a connection (IDL code)
1. Open the Internal Component Diagram on which you want to create the Connection.
2. On the diagram’s ribbon tab, click the 
Connection button, click the source item, and then click the destination item.

Note that when you create a Connection you create a UML Association in the model.
