Properties pane (Publisher)
The Properties pane allows you to manage the properties of an item that is selected in the Document Structure pane. In addition, the Properties pane allows you to manage the default properties of items and diagrams selected in the Defaults pane.
To find out information about a property, click the property type and see the text displayed at the bottom of the Properties pane. Alternatively, refer to Document structure item properties; and Document structure item properties.
To change the value of a property, click the cell that displays the current value:
• If the value is a text value, you can type the new value as appropriate.
• If the value is an enumeration value, such as True or False, you can change the value through the following button that appears in the cell:
If a property is read-only, Publisher will not show the property or prevent you from changing the value.
When a model item type or model item is assigned to a document structure item, the Properties pane allows you to define associated items to extract and define properties to extract.
For more information, refer to Setting Up the default properties to include for extracted items and diagrams; Specifying associated model item types and roles to include for extracted items; and specifying properties to include for extracted items and diagrams.
