Benefits and Description
The following numeric engine updates and enhancements have been made:
• PDESolve in Solve Block
◦ Partial Differential Equations can now be evaluated in solve blocks using the new pdesolve() function. The pdesolve function returns a function or vector of functions that solves a one-dimensional nonlinear Partial Differential Equation (PDE) or system of PDEs, with n independent equality constraints for an nth order differential equation.
• General function improvements
◦ Improved functionality and added supported use cases for functions evaluated numerically, including:
