To Edit Arrays and Tables
As you create arrays and tables, you can edit them using keyboard shortcuts or Ribbon options located on the Matrices/Tables tab, in the Rows and Columns group.
1. Select an array or a table to edit.
2. To insert a row or a column, use one of the following methods:

Click the Insert Option
Description
Shift+Enter with the cursor located anywhere in a row
Insert Below
Inserts a new row below the current row.
Shift+Enter with the cursor located at the leftmost entry point of the leftmost element in a row
Insert Above
Inserts a new row above the current row.
Shift+Space with the cursor located anywhere in an element
Insert Right
Inserts a new column to the right of the current column.
Shift+Space with the cursor located at the leftmost entry point of an element
Insert Left
Inserts a new column to the left of the current column.
3. To delete a row or column, highlight it and then press Delete or Backspace.
Alternatively, click Delete Row or Delete Column.
4. To clear the content of array elements, select the array elements to be cleared and click Clear Cells. The matrix size is not affected.
