To Change the Scaling of an Axis Expression
1. On a plot, click the unit placeholder of the axis expression to scale. A cursor appears.
2. Type a real number or an expression that evaluates to a real number. If you insert a variable or a constant, you must change the label accordingly.
3. Press Enter. The tick mark values of the axis are now scaled by the real number.
Additional Information
You can scale each expression in an axis placeholder by a different value.
To calculate the x value or y value of a point, read its value on the relevant axis and multiply it by the scaling factor found in the unit placeholder of the axis expression that defines the point.
