Additional Information
• The scaling operator is only visible when you click a math region to activate it.
• When you type expressions such as 5y, the scaling operator is automatically inserted between the 5 and the y, and it acts as a multiplication operator. However, if you want to scale x by y then you must insert the scaling operator manually using the above keyboard shortcut. Without the scaling operator, PTC Mathcad treats xy as a single variable.
• When a result has units, the scaling operator is inserted between the result and the unit. This scaling operator cannot be deleted.
