Definite Integrals with Complex Limits
Mathcad uses contour integration to evaluate certain integrals along paths above the contour line in the complex plane.
You can symbolically evaluate integrals that have complex limits.
Use the keyword float for numeric evaluation of the integration value.
You can use the decimal notation for numeric results. Compare:
With
You can use infinity or negative infinity as the integral limits.
When the integral does not converge the result is undefined:
To evaluate the integral when the function has a singularity point, use the Cauchy principal value.
