Creating a Custom Text Style
1. To create a new style, go to > , and click > . Alternatively, apply the desired text formatting options to your text, right-click the text and select Create Style.
2. In the Style Editor dialog box:
◦ Name — Choose a name for your test style. You cannot use one of the predefined style names, such as Title or Heading 1.
◦ Based on — Select the style that your custom text style is based on. The default is the Normal text style. For example, if you select Title, your custom text style will have all the Title text style attributes, unless you change them manually.
◦ Font — Modify the font of your custom text style, such as size color, and font type.
◦ Paragraph — Modify the layout of a paragraph, such as bullets, text alignment and indentation.
On the right side of the Style Editor dialog box the text style is displayed, and the font attributes are listed.
3. Click OK to save your changes. The text style you created will appear under the Text Styles list, in the Text Formatting tab.
