Inserting an Area
1. In a worksheet, click where you want to insert an area and press Ctrl+Shift+A. An empty area appears.
Alternatively, on the Document tab, in the Regions group, click Area.
2. Inside the area, type strings, define variables, write programs, or perform any other PTC Mathcad operations.
3. To move the area, select and drag it.
4. To delete an area, select it and press the Delete or the Backspace key.
Alternatively, on the Math tab, in the Regions group, click Delete Region.

You cannot drag a region from the worksheet into the area, or from the area into the worksheet. To move regions in or out of areas, use cut and paste.
