Creating and Editing Headers and Footers
1. In a worksheet, double-click the top or bottom margins. The header or footer opens.
Alternatively, on the Document tab, in the Headers and Footers group, click Header or Footer.

In draft view, the header and footer are not displayed. You can click on the bottom right corner of the PTC Mathcad window to switch to page view.
2. Insert math regions, text regions, plots, or images then save the worksheet.
3. To include file and page information, on the Document tab, in the Headers and Footers group, perform the following actions:
Click Page Number or Saved Date and select a format from the list. The information is added in the header or footer. To remove this information, activate the header or footer, click Page Number or Saved Date, and select Remove Page Number or Remove Saved Date.
Select System Long Date or System Short Date for consistency with the date format set on your Windows operating system.
Click File and select Name or Path to toggle the display of this information in the header or footer.
4. To control the height of the header or footer regions, select an option from the Margins menu.
5. Double-click in the main worksheet area to exit the header or footer region.
