You can link any selected, contiguous text, to a file or to a web page. Using the number sign tag, #, you can also link text to another region in the worksheetyou are working on, or to a region in another mcdx worksheet. You assign tags to regions with the Tag button.

• To add a link:
a. Select the word or contiguous words that you want to link.
b. On the Text Formatting tab, in the Links group, click Link. The Link dialog box opens, and the selected words appear in the Text box.
Alternatively, right-click the selected text and select Link from the context menu.
c. In the Address box, type or paste a target address. The address can be a URL, including a link to a web page, a full or relative path to a file, or an internal link in #tag form. To link to a tagged region located in another mcdx file, type the file path followed by the internal link in #tag form.
d. Click OK. The Link dialog box closes, and the selected text appears as a link.
e. Press CTRL and then click to open the link. The link opens the target file or web page in your default browser. Clicking an anchor link to navigate to a target region.
• To edit a link:
a. Right-click the linked text and select Edit Link. The Link dialog box opens.
b. Edit the address and click OK. The Link dialog box closes.
c. In your worksheet, open the link and ensure that it takes you to the correct new address.
• To remove a link:
a. Click the text that contains the link.
b. Click Remove Link. The linked text becomes simple text.
Alternatively, right-click the linked text and select Remove Link from the context menu.
