PTC Mathcad Options and License Settings
1. Click the PTC Mathcad Prime button , and then click Options. The PTC Mathcad Options dialog box opens.
2. On the License tab, view your license information. Refer to the PTC Mathcad Prime 5.0.0.0 Installation and Administration Guide for more information on licensing.
3. On the Options tab, click or clear the following options:
Enable the Resources Tab—Toggles the display of the Resources tab in the Ribbon. This tab contains four groups:
Get Help in PTC Mathcad
Connect to PTC Mathcad Community
Technical Support
Learning
Enable PTC Places—Toggles the display of the Workgroup Manager commands under the PTC Mathcad Prime button. You can check in and check out files for data and lifecycle management.
Set the path for accessing Help at an alternate location—Specify an alternate location for the online Help Center.

The default location for the Help Center is on the PTC Support Site.
If you install Help on your own server, then you must set the path for accessing Help at an alternate location to:
http://<server-name>/<path-to-folder>/mathcad/<language>
If you install Help on a local disk, then you must set the path for accessing Help at an alternate location to:
<local-disk>:\<path-to-folder>\mathcad\<language>
Disable Diagnostic Tools reporting—Toggles the Diagnostic Tools data reporting functionality. This option is always enabled if you have a 30-day, full functionality license. You can disable this option, if you have a full license. Refer to the PTC Mathcad Prime 5.0.0.0 Installation and Administration Guide for more information on Diagnostic Tools.
Show PTC Mathcad News and Information—Toggles the docked PTC Mathcad Prime News and Information window in the PTC Mathcad Prime main window where the content of the custom RSS feed is displayed. This option is enabled if you have a full license.
Specify an alternate folder for 'My Templates'—Specifies an alternate location for the My Templates folder.
Specify an alternate folder for 'Shared Templates'—Specifies an alternate location for the Shared Templates folder.
Use an alternate template when creating new worksheets—Specifies an alternate default template for creating new worksheets.
4. Click Close.
