Arbortext IsoDraw > User's Reference > Menus > File Menu > Save As

Save As
Use Save as on the File menu to open the Save as dialog box and then save a copy of a file with any of these properties changed:
Location
File name
Extension—for the native Arbortext IsoDraw formats .idr, .idrz (packed format), .iso, or, .cgm (if the native format is CGM)
If you open a new file, and then select File > Save as (or File > Save), the file is saved in the latest Arbortext IsoDraw file format with an .idr extension by default.
If you open an existing ISO file or IDR file, and then select File > Save as, a copy of the existing file is saved in the latest Arbortext IsoDraw file format with a corresponding .iso or .idr extension by default.
*
Unlike File > Save as, the File > Save command does not update ISO files to the latest file format by default. See Save for details.
Using Save As to Update Older ISO Files
If you do not change the location, file name, or extension of an older ISO file, the copy you save using File > Save as will, by default, replace the older ISO file in the latest Arbortext IsoDraw format. While the replacement file is in the latest format, it retains the .iso extension.
