Locking and Unlocking the Windchill Preferences Panel
The Windchill preferences panel in the Arbortext IsoDrawPreferences dialog box can be locked or unlocked through an optionally password-protected Administrator preferences panel. This enables an administrator to control which Arbortext IsoDraw users connect to the Windchill server. If the administrator locks the Windchill preferences panel, the Connect to Windchill setting on that panel cannot be changed until it is unlocked.
To lock or unlock the Windchill preferences panel in Arbortext IsoDraw:
1. Choose > The Preferences dialog box opens.
2. Click the
Administrator
preferences icon. The
Administrator panel opens if no password is set.
If the Administrator panel is password-protected, enter the password and click OK.
| If you do not know the Administrator panel password, you will not be able to unlock the Windchill panel if it is locked. |
3. In the Adminstrator panel under Lock panels:
a. Scroll to the
Windchill
preferences icon and select it.
b. Click the Lock or Unlock button to lock or unlock the Windchill preferences panel.
c. Click OK.
