Creating Animations
Preparing a Drawing for Animation and Animating Objects

The Edit animation command can be used to create animations for all the objects in a drawing. The completed animation can then be played back from Arbortext IsoDraw using the Show in IsoView command.
Animation is an extra tool for the creation of documentation. Moving images can provide users with greater insight into technical contexts such as assembly procedures or function flows.
You can use the transformation tools for animation and set a wide range of attributes. You can also prepare playback so that the animation can be started and stopped as required.
This chapter contains two examples relating to animation.
The first example (exercise 1) involves lifting the cover of a terminal box to reveal its inner workings. The exercise also covers relevant preliminary work (creating object info).
The second example (exercise 2) involves creating an animation for an object. The exercise then illustrates how to start and stop playback of the animation at will.
