Applying Client-side Service Packs
Client-side service packs are distributed automatically by the patch distribution utility on the Integrity Lifecycle Manager server. In the event that there is a problem updating a client automatically, you can also apply the service pack manually to the Integrity Lifecycle Manager client.
As of Integrity Lifecycle Manager 12.0, it is not mandatory for a user to have system administrator privileges to update the Integrity Lifecycle Manager client with an available service pack. To install a service pack, you must have Full Control permissions for the client installation folder.

If you are running more than one Integrity client installation on a single machine, in order to prevent the collision of downloaded service packs and HotFixes, you must explicitly set a distinct version of the MKS_IC_INSTANCE_DIR environment variable.
