Service Pack and HotFix Logging
Service pack information is logged to both the Integrity Lifecycle Manager server and the Integrity Lifecycle Manager client. Information is also logged for all installed HotFixes.
Server Service Pack Logging
The PatchServer utility logs information to the following locations:
Location

installdir/log/SPinstall.log
Summary logging. Tracks all service packs installed on Integrity Lifecycle Manager clients by user ID and IP Address.
installdir/log/XMLParserClient.log
Detailed logging of operations and errors.
On the Integrity Lifecycle Manager server, log files also track all service packs that are installed on clients by user ID and IP address.
Client Service Pack Logging
On the Integrity Lifecycle Manager client, service pack-related messages are logged to the client directory under:

Summary logging.
installdir/bin/XMLParserClient.log
Detailed logging of operations and errors.
HotFix Logging
When the Integrity Lifecycle Manager server is shut down for HotFix installation, the server.log file records that the HotFix has been installed when the server is started again. If the server was running when the HotFix is installed, the server.log file does not record that installation until the next server restart.
When the Integrity Lifecycle Manager server is restarted, the log of installed HotFixes is also updated accordingly. The PatchServer.log and PatchClient.log are also updated whenever a HotFix is installed.

for the Integrity Lifecycle Manager server when viewing the server home page.
for the Integrity Lifecycle Manager client using Help > About in the GUI, or im about/si about in the CLI.
