Assumptions
Before using the Integrity Lifecycle Manager Agent, ensure that you understand:
• The hardware platforms and operating systems you are installing the Integrity Lifecycle Manager Agent on, that is, Windows, Solaris, and Linux.
• The native security realm of your system. The Integrity Lifecycle Manager Agent supports the following security realms: NT realm, Windows (ADS/Kerberos), UNIX, Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), and Flat File.

Support for the NT security realm will be dropped in a future release.

• Distinguished Names (DN), LDAP search filters, and LDAP schemas if you want to use LDAP or Windows authentication using ADS.
• The character set encoding requirements of your e-mail system.
