If your preferences are not set to prompt a server connection, the Specify Server Connection dialog box does not appear.

Once you connect to another server, you can open a new window for configuring permissions, Workflows and Documents, and Configuration Management on that server. To open a new window, select > .
Upon restarting the Integrity Lifecycle Manager administration client, view settings are automatically restored and you are prompted to connect to the server or servers used during the previous session.

In the Server Connection menu, the active connection displays with a bullet next to the connection information. If the bullet does not appear, you are not connected to the server.
In the lower right corner of the Integrity Lifecycle Manager administration client, the following three icons indicate the status of the server:
