TAL a Group Effectivity Bundle
In addition to bundles published from the content authored in Windchill Service Information Manager, you can also TAL bundles containing third party content, such as group effectivity.
Group effectivity information is contained in GE bundles. Group effectivity enables you to assign effectivity information to groups of objects in one operation.
Following is an excerpt from the BUNDLE.mf file that identifies a GE bundle:

The Bundle-Category setting in the file identifies this as a GE bundle.
Note that the Bundle-Version must be at 2.2 or later to support TAL into the GlobalResources folder that is published to all segments.
