Duplicating Building Block Entities
To create a duplicate of an entity that is delivered as part of a building block, complete the following steps:
1. View the entity in ThingWorx Composer.
2. Under More, select Duplicate.
3. Provide a name for the duplicated entity.
4. In the Project field, click X to clear the project value. New entities cannot be assigned to one of the projects delivered with the PTC building blocks.
5. Search for and select the project for a building block that you have created. For information on creating a new building block, see

6. Click Save to save the duplicated entity.
