Base Building Block
The base building block is the bottom-most layer of a given solution. It contains all of the entities (Data Shapes, Thing Shapes, Thing Templates, and so on) that are implemented by all other building blocks. It provides the structure and security for other building blocks, as well as services that can be used to manage, create, and delete them.
The base building block is comprised of a single standard building block (PTC.Base). You can view the contents of the building block by viewing the PTC.Base project in ThingWorx Composer.
