To Set Properties for Closed Geometry Elements
You can add closed geometry elements such as boxes, polygons, circles, and ellipses to a design. There are definition and anchoring techniques for each type of element.
Click Geometry > Edit Line > Properties to set properties for closed geometry elements in the Closed Geometry Properties dialog box. To set the properties while creating closed geometry follow the procedure below.
1. Click a closed geometry button or click the arrow to select a closed geometry tool.
2. Click and drag to create the closed geometry element.
3. Right-click and set the following properties:
Switch Centerlines On—Displays the centerlines for geometry elements created using the current tool only.
*
A centerline indicates the horizontal and vertical axis of the geometry rotated by the value of the base angle. For slots, the centerlines also pass through the center of the round-slot ends.
Base angle—Type a positive or negative value for the angle of drawn closed geometry elements. The default is +0.00000.
4. Click again to create the element.
5. Right-click and choose Exit Tool.
