To Modify Design Colors
By default, design elements appear in black on a white background. If you change the background color to black, make sure to set a light color for design elements. You can modify system colors and the default Design Element Color as described in the next procedures.
To Modify System Colors
1. Click > > . The Change system colors page opens.
2. Click the color square next to Background. The Define Color dialog box opens.
3. Select a color and click OK.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to set colors for Preselection highlight for objects, Selected objects, and Secondary selected.
5. Click OK.
To Modify the Default Design Element Color
1. Click > 
Edit Color Palette. The Select a Color dialog box opens.

3. Click Edit. The Define Color dialog box opens.
4. Select the color and click OK. The color is the new default design element’s color.
5. Click OK.
