To Set an Artifact Layer
1. In an open design, open an artifact properties dialog box.
2. Select the layer parameter, click 
, and select a value from the Select a string dialog box, click OK, and then click 
.
, and select a value from the Select a string dialog box, click OK, and then click .3. Click OK.

Changing the layer parameter of the artifact will change the layer assigned to all existing shapes for the artifact to the new value set for the layer parameter.
