To Create a Surface from a Box
1. Click
Restyle >
Polynomial Surface >
Box. The
Surface from box mathematical properties dialog box opens.
2. Click and drag to create a rectangular box. A surface is created that roughly follows the projection of the selection box on the facet data.
3. Define the mathematical properties of the surface:
a. Select a surface type.
b. In the Degree box, type or select a value from 1 to 15.
c. In the Number of segments box, type or select a value from 2 to 200.
d. Click OK to close the Surface from box dialog box.
4. Click
OK.
