Example: Flipping the Orientation of a Shape
The following example shows the flipping of orientation of a shape. It also explains when this command is used.
1. In the following image the two surfaces are selected of two shapes. These surfaces are to be connected. The orientation of the shapes is dissimilar.
2. The following image shows the convoluted geometry of the connected shapes when their orientation is dissimilar. To achieve the desired geometry, flip the orientation of one of the shapes.
3. The following image shows the final geometry of the connected shapes after the orientation of one of the shapes is flipped.
