About Material Models
Hyperelastic material models are described in terms of strain energy potential. When you select a material model, you must specify coefficients required to calculate the strain energy potential. You can choose any one of the following material models:
Arruda-Boyce
Mooney-Rivlin
Neo-Hookean
Polynomial Order 2
Reduced Poly. Order 2
Yeoh
The Material Model area of Material Definition dialog box displays a list of material models. You can select a model from this list. Neo-Hookean model is selected by default.
For each model, a list of coefficients appears below the name of the material model. Specify the values of the coefficients or assign aParameter. Select units for the coefficients. The principal system of units previously set for the model determines the units that appear by default.
The list of material models appear on Hyperelastic Material Definition dialog box also.
