Temperature Dependent Radiation Condition

Creo Simulate > Modeling Structure and Thermal Problems > Thermal Boundary Conditions > Radiation Conditions > Temperature Dependent Radiation Condition

Select Function of Temperature option from the Temperature Dependence drop-down list in the Radiation Condition dialog box if you want emissivity to vary as a function of temperature. You must define the function over a temperature range that is used during the analysis.

When you select Function of Temperature, the Radiation Condition dialog box expands to display the

button along with a list of predefined functions in the Temperature Dependence area. Click

to open the Function Definition dialog box along with the temperature as an independent variable.

Radiation Conditions with temperature dependent coefficients are not supported in FEM mode.

Return to Radiation Condition or To Define Radiation Condition.
