Spot Weld Definition
When you select Spot Weld as the weld type, in addition to Name and Type the following options are available on the Weld Definition dialog box:
References—Two surface collectors are available. Select the first surface for which you want to create the contact. Creo Simulate displays the first surface in the first collector. The second surface collector displays the second surface to connect to.
Properties
Points—You can select a single point, point feature, pattern of points, or intent points at which you want to create the spot welds.
Diameter—Specify the diameter of the spot weld to be created. Select units from the adjacent drop-down list or accept the default units.
Material—Accept the default Part Material as the material for the weld or click More to open the Materials dialog box and select a material for the spot weld.
