Temperature Distribution
The Temperature Distribution tab is available on the Modal Analysis Definition dialog box only if the model has temperature-dependent material properties.
For models with temperature dependent material properties you need to create Structural Temperature loads or MEC/T loads to define the temperature distribution over the model. The Use Temperature Loads of list displays all temperature load sets in the model. You can select a suitable load set for your analysis.
You must include all the temperature loads that define the temperature distribution in a single load set. This is required for the correct calculation of temperature distribution since you cannot sum load sets in a modal analysis. A load set cannot contain a combination of structural and MEC/T loads.
