Requirements for a Static Analysis with Contacts
You need to include the following items in a static analysis with contacts:
1 constraint set
0 or 1 load set
1 or more contacts
In addition, you must create measures if you want to see results for specific contacts. You can select from the following measures: average contact pressure, maximum contact pressure, contact area, and contact load. You can select slippage measures if you have selected the Create Slippage Indicators option while defining the contact.
Note that Creo Simulate does not support static analysis with contacts for models that include shells in the contact. Creo Simulate supports large deformation nonlinearity for contact analyses.
See Constraint and Load Sets in Structural Analyses for more information.
