Components for Ball Connection Reaction Measures
A ball connection allows rotation in any direction with no linear movement. When a ball connection is used as a component for a connection reaction measure, you can choose to measure the Total force, or Force X, Force Y, or Force Z.
The direction of the X, Y and Z components is determined by the LCS of the first or the second body as selected in the Expressed in list in the Definition dialog box (see illustration).
When an X, Y or Z component is selected, the body LCS of the selected body is displayed at its ball point, so that the X, Y, or Z direction is visible.

* These forces are also displayed at the ball point when you run the analysis playback.
