To Use the Thicken Tool in Sketcher
1. Create or edit an extruded, revolved, flange, or helical swept wall sketch in Sketcher. The procedure varies depending on the type of wall you create. Your section must be a single chain with tangent entities.
2. Do one of the following operations:
◦ Right-click in the sketch window and choose Thicken from the shortcut menu.
◦ Click Setup > Feature Tools > Thicken.
A thicken line is offset from your sketched line.
3. Flip the material thickness direction if required.
4. If you are creating a first wall, enter a value for the thickness.
5. Make any changes to the dimensions using the thicken line as a reference.
6. Click
OK to accept the sketch.
