Tip: Patterning Flat and Flange Walls
When you pattern individual flat and flange walls or a group with a flat or flange wall attached to a feature that is not part of the group, keep in mind the following points:
• Only the Direction type of pattern is available.
• One or more walls can be patterned at the same time.
• The attachment edges of the original flat or flange wall and of the target patterned wall must each lie on a single linear edge.
• A Pattern operation fails when there is no valid target edge.

As a best practice, for a flat or flange wall with additional features, such as rounds or cuts, first pattern the wall and then pattern the features.
