Tip: Patterning Flat and Flange Walls
When you pattern individual flat and flange walls or a group with a flat or flange wall attached to a feature that is not part of the group, keep in mind the following points:
Only the Direction type of pattern is available.
One or more walls can be patterned at the same time.
The attachment edges of the original flat or flange wall and of the target patterned wall must each lie on a single linear edge.
A Pattern operation fails when there is no valid target edge.

* You cannot pattern a wall created before Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 5.0.
As a best practice, for a flat or flange wall with additional features, such as rounds or cuts, first pattern the wall and then pattern the features.
Create a wall with rounds.
Pattern the wall.
Pattern the rounds.
