About the Swept Blend Tool in Sheetmetal Design
You can use the Swept Blend tool to create a sheet metal wall or surface with swept blend geometry. When a swept blend wall is not the first wall, use the tool to create a solid cut. You create swept blend geometry by sketching a single trajectory and multiple sections that are blended at specified segment vertices or at datum points on the trajectory. You can orient a section by specifying the rotation angle about the z-axis.
You can redefine a swept blend wall as a surface, or redefine a swept blend surface as a wall, if the wall is not the first one in a design. You must specify thickness for a first wall. Keep in mind that additional options specific to Sheetmetal Design are available for the Swept Blend tool.
