About the Extrude Tool in Sheetmetal Design
The Extrude tool can be used to create the following features:
• Unattached extruded walls
• Sheet metal cuts that remove solid material from the sheet metal wall, normal to the driven or to the offset surface, or normal to both surfaces
• Solid cuts that remove solid material from the sheet metal wall, normal to the sketch plane
• Quilts
• Surface trim
