To Assemble a Free Fitting
1. Click
Free Fitting. The
Assemble Fitting dialog box opens.
2. Select a Reference pipeline to place the fitting.
3. Click the Specification check box and select a specification from the list to place a fitting with a specification.
4. Select a Size from the list.
5. Select a Schedule from the list.
6. Click the fitting type to place.
7. Click the Preview arrow to preview the fitting.
8. Do one of the following:
◦ Click OK to place a single fitting.
◦ Click Apply or middle-click to place additional fittings.
The Component Placement tab opens.
9. Assemble the fitting using the placement constraints.
