Piping Master Catalog Directory File

The Piping Master Catalog Directory file lists all the available Pipe and Fitting Master Catalog (MCAT) files and insulation files. Each Piping MCAT Directory file entry associates a category, a selection name, location to master catalog file and for fittings only the name of the Combined Size Code. Specification driven piping uses this file as a lookup table to locate all the piping, fitting, and insulation files.

SNAME
A user defined fitting selection name.
MCAT_FILE
Location of the Master Catalog file in the catalog.
SIZE_CODE_FILE
Combined Size Code file name and path.
A single combined size code file for all pipes and fittings is used by default.
 
* You define the MCAT Directory file name by setting the piping_mcat_dir_file configuration option. The default file is piping_mcat_dir.csv.
