To Create a Chordal Round
1. Click Model > Round. The Round tab opens.
2. To select references for the round, select an edge, two surfaces, or an edge and a surface.
3. To create a chordal round, on the Sets tab, click Chordal.
4. To set the chord length, drag the chord handles, or type a value on the Round tab.
5. To define the round cross section, select one of the following shapes on the Sets tab:
Circular
Conic. To set the sharpness of the round, drag the conic handle or type a value from 0.05 and 0.95 in the Conic Parameter box on the Round tab.
C2 Continuous. To set the sharpness of the round, drag the shape handle or type a value from 0.05 and 0.95 in the C2 Shape Factor box on the Round tab.
6. To create the chordal round normal to a spine, on the Sets tab, select Normal to spine from the list.
If the round uses two surfaces as references, click the Spine collector, and select an edge as the reference for the spine.
If the round uses an edge or edges as references, the edges that you select are used as the reference for the spine.
7. Click .
